Name for German Shepherd.? She is a female and I think I would like a cute German name.?

Heidi is a very popular German name. Not sure if it's a great name for a dog though. Try watching a few German movies and pick out some names which would sould nice as a dogs name.

My mother is German. When we named our first dachshund "Elsa", she straightened up and said a little stiffly, "We don't have anybody in our family named "Elsa"!"

I laughed, and replied "But Mom, we don't have anybody who has four paws in the family, either."

She laughed too and our Elsa was a good, beloved pet for many years until she was badly injured and we put her to sleep.
