Altered spelling of German B眉chler (see Buechler).

In the southern part of Germany it would be pronounced Bi-shler
Reply:Yes, it's pronounced Bay-the CH is kind of hard to describe kind of a silent K sound with an overstated H like clearing your throat-LUH
Reply:your last name is as German as sauerkraut, sausages and beer lol
Reply:Beichler is most likely Germanic, which indicates YOUR SPECIFIC ANCESTRY may have originated in other countries of Europe. SO, to be certain, send me the data on your earliest known Beichler ancestor. I will make a search or two for YOUR SPECIFIC ANCESTORS in the attempt to ascertain the country of origin. Depending on when they came to N America, I might be able to give you confirmation or denial of your hypothesis. Thanks to the other respondents, however, their answers are speculative, while mine is SPECIFIC to YOUR ancestry. I speak fluent German %26amp; have a native German mother. I will provide you the pronunciation by telephone, for as any native German will tell you, the "ch" sound cannot be written. Some parts of Germany (like my ancestry in Central Germany) would say something close to "Byshlah" but that is not the Usual German pronunciation). Because English does not have the sound, it cannot be written here. So, if you do not mark this reply as the best answer, you are on your own for research. Mark this as the best answer (because it is) %26amp; then email me your specifics. karlmsala@msn.com %26amp; call 1-888-456-7252; leave your phone # %26amp; when to call.
