There were a number of Germans who fled to Central America after WWII to hide from the Allied Forces and avoid prosecution for Nazi war crimes.

My husband is of German descent, but has dark hair and olive skin, so it's not necessary to look Arayan to be German.
Reply:Anastacio Narvais is a VERY Spanish name; no German there at all. If he was a German, when did he come over? If he came over at the end of WWII, he may have changed his name to hide a Nazi past. You said he did change his name once, so maybe there is more to this story than you have been told. Interesting question!

You may very well have some German ancestry, but not necessarily through your grandfather.
Reply:it sounds Spanish to me.
