I have been trying to find info on her, i get quite a bit but am not sure of this one...how she can have a German last name %26amp; is she Jewish? Said her ancestors died in Holocaust. Please help me, anyone. I am fascinated by this woman.

German Jews do exist. Many of the Jews that were tragically displaced and abused and murdered at the hands of Nazi party were (among other nationalities) German.
Because a person is of German decents does not mean that the same descendants coudn't have been jewish.

Edelstein is a Jewish surname from Germanic orgin, if that helps any.
