Is the town designed like a German town..German Restaurants, shops and bakery? just curious because I am an american who was born in Munich Germany and am wondering how this town got its name..thanks for any info...I have gone to the local web sites so I do not need references on the net to that city...just could not find out this info on the net. Would be nice to hear from someone who lives there or has lived there..
How did Munich North Dakota gets its name?. Did German people first settle there from Munich Germany?
It is a tiny little town, about 200 people, not much there anymore, I have driven through it. I am afraid that it pales in comparison to Munich, Germany.
Most likely it was named by German immigrants, although not because of any similarities but because of homesickness. You can find a little info on Wiki.
