How do you spell this name in German?

Rachelle, or Rachel?

How do you spell this name in German?
My uncle is in Germany and he knows German a lot... I think it is the same, since it is a name.... I mean just "Rachelle" in either language. (Germans also use the same (some exceptions) alphabet. I am in Canada and they spell Canada in German; "Kanada". But as far as some words goes.... I think it is the same... NOT 100% sure since I am not German.

Hope this helps.
Reply:It's not a German name but I just know Rachel...never heard of Rachelle.
Reply:That depends on how you pronounce it. There would be a difference in pronunciation.

"Rachel" in German is pronounced like " 'rah- chel" with the "ch" like in Scottish "loch".

The spelling "Rachelle" would suggest a French pronuciation, as "rah- 'shell".

If you want it pronounced the English way, you'll have to tell them anyway.

But normally you spell any name written in Roman letters as it is spelled at home.
