I need a name for a german shepard my 3 year old can say?

We just got a German Shepard puppy. I have looked all over online to find names. I have a three year old so I have to find something she can remember and at least almost say.

I need a name for a german shepard my 3 year old can say?
Maybe you should instead think of a name that would be challenging for your three old to say. This could help him or her learn the framework of speech and pronunciation a little faster. Just something to think about.

Good luck
Reply:My German Shepherds were named Max and Elke. I like Elke (L-key) and Heidi, but just saw "Bingo" and like that also!
Reply:How about Nana? Like the dog in Peter Pan. Okay, she isn't a GS but still a cute name and easy for a small child.
Reply:Dusty?
Reply:yo-yo
Reply:Champ

Buddy

Buster

Sam

Lady

Anna

Betsy

Missy

You didn't specify male or female

How well does your three talk?
Reply:Charlie.
Reply:What about Bo? That is easy to say and sounds good too.
Reply:Rusty
Reply:Toon
Reply:Bianca. That is a Russian German name but your daughter will learn the name. My daughter's dog's name is Libby and my grandson calls it Wibby. But he can say anything that starts with a B.
Reply:At three years old they should be able to say most names.
Reply:Bingo :)
Reply:Spartan

I named my pitt bull that, and my kids had no problem saying it.
Reply:Rex?

It's quite common
Reply:Barney.....This is becasue the Show barney adopted this name so that toddlers can remember the name...after researching this was the most suitable name found!

I bet any toddler can remb. this quite easily...two syllables Bar-nie
Reply:Boo

Frog

Wuppy

Max

Nemo

My my just turned 4 yr. old calls my dog Talus, "Tawissss" and my 6 yr. old calls my other dog Talia, "tell-ya".

As long as the dog doesn't dominate your 3 yr. old in any way, it doesn't matter what you call it.

My cat has a really long name but all I EVER call him is "kitty".

Go to dogster and browse some german sherpards and see if you like any names from there.
Reply:My husband has named everything we have had. Cars, animals, our kids...All odd names but easy nicknames came out of them....

Brent is called Bent...don't ask me why...

Hudson is called....Hu Hu or Huddy

Brienza is called Boo or Brie

Mela is our dog

A.K. is my husband's name

He named one of our other dogs Socrates and we called her Socks for short....

We also had another dog named Othello and we called him O for short....

We have had dogs named: Fudgie, Poogie, Lady and CC as well.

A lot you can do with a name...When adults asked my animals names, I gave the the cool long name....then explained how my kids shortened it and they always thought it was cute and cool at the same time. Save me from being embarrassed most of the time.

Good Luck!

Have fun with it.
Reply:My min pin just had puppies and the female we are keeping we are calling her Piper, its not to hard to say.

Reply:ka ka, dookie, poo poo, f**k, dicky. wee wee.
Reply:wuff
Reply:Hey!

Congrats on your new puppy!

I personally like the name Lola. It is girly and rolls off the tongue very well. ask your child to try to say it and see if it works. =)

Good luck! =)
Reply:Well the top two dog names in the country are Max and Bailey. But since its a female I recommend Brandy, which I have used. As a professional dog trainer I will suggest that whatever you chose be sure that is only one or two syllables because its easier on the dog to learn and you to say..Remember you have about ten years or more to say it say keep it simple...Enjoy your pet.
Reply:Doggy.
