I am registering classes for next semester. My instructor told us not to take the one with a German name but he didn't point out who was that person. I am wondering if Scheinkman sounds like a German last name. Thank you.

Wow...for an instructor to tell you that is pretty bad on all number of levels, lol.
Scheinkman can definitely be a German or Eastern European name. So can alot of other names though.
