A very ugly name, I think. German has a very easy pronunciation, the problem is the grammar
Reply:You can say "OO-doh", which the other respondents have suggested, and which really is pretty close.
However, if you are a native English speaker, you'll probably make the mistake of closing the second syllable on a "w" sound, because that's what "o" ends in in the English language. Say "bow" or "show" or "toe" out loud slowly a few times, and you will realize that there are really two vowel sounds there. Drop the second one (easier said than done, I know), and your " OO-do' " will be perfect.
