I have visited the ruins of the Frankenstein Castle in Germany. That was several years ago. I found a site where you can read all about it.
Reply:I do have a Frankenstein in my genealogy from Chicago. Yes, it is a legitimate surname. We always joked that cousin Geraldine was the bride of Frankenstein!!!
