What is the name of the German beer that comes in flavors like raspberry & cherry?

We went to a night club in DC that served it and I want to buy it but forgot the name of it. Also if you are in the DC area where can I buy this beer?

What is the name of the German beer that comes in flavors like raspberry %26amp; cherry?
These other folks are 'probably' right but some "German" wheat beers do come in flavors like raspberry and cherry but they're most likely American variaties. For example there's Pyramid Apricot Wheat, Spanish Peaks Raspberry Wheat, and Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. At the same time though the lambic they're referring to is also generally brewed with wheat.

My vote still goes to lambic though, probably Lindeman's Framboise/Kriek. You should be able to find it in any decently stocked grocery store or liquor store these days. Merchant du Vin, the distributor, has really pushed these beers the last few years it seems.
Reply:Lindeman is probably your best bet for a try Belgian lambic. Flavors range from apple to peach to cherry (Kriek).

A lambic sometimes loosely referred to as a beer brewed with fruit. Correctly a lambic is a fruit beer brewed in southwest Brussels (Belgium)
Reply:Lambic. I had a blueberry wheat beer in Madison, WI that was fantastic.
Reply:You might be thinking of Lambic-style beer which originates from Belgium. It's produced with a special kind of wild yeast found in Belgium. Lindemans makes a great fruit Lambic in apple, cherry, rasperry and several others.
Reply:Framboise is what you're thinking of, and it's delicious!!!!
Reply:It's not German it's Beligian and it's called Lambic or Kriek - those are a style not a brand name. The only real Lambics come from Belgium, despite what Jim Koch puts on his bottles.
