There is supposed to be a really good museum there that tells the story of the wall and how the city was split in half. It also was rebuilt to look like pre-unification Germany. They reconstructed the wall to show how the town was sectioned off. One side of the city lies in Thuringia and the other half in Bavaria. I've stared at all kinds of maps and googled it for hours now and the name just can not come to memory.
Name of German town that lies between Bavaria/Thuringia that was split by east and west?
