How to pronounce the German name "R枚ntgen (Roentgen)"?

I have a presentation based on the German Nobel winner and physicist, Wilhelm Conrad R枚ntgen. I'm Canadian and don't speak German so pronouncing his name is a tricky one. Any help would be appreciated.

How to pronounce the German name "R枚ntgen (Roentgen)"?

maybe a little bit loud so better turn your speakers down.
Reply:Since you don't speak German, I would simplify the pronunciation a little. German is very phonetic, i.e. you say every letter so I would pronounce it "runt-gun". The "u" in "runt" isn't exactly equivalent to 枚 but it is closer enough for a presentation which is otherwise in English. If you can roll the "r", even better!
Reply:The German w sounds like the english v in this case and make sure you split the syllable between wil and helm distinctivelyy, Vil..helm. For Conrad pronounce the c softly from your throat and the o should be pronounced like you say o when you say the alphabet not like a short a. For R枚ntgen the r is from the back of your throat and then just like the english spelling %26lt;Roentgen%26gt; pronouncing every letter subtly.

The umlauted o (枚) is like the English "o" sound, but you press your tongue against the back of your lower teeth when you say it. The rest is pretty similar to how you would pronounce it in English.
Reply:It's hard to say because 脰 is not in your alphabet. 脰 is pronounced like when people say "eeeeem" if they are unsure what to say, the long e-sound is pronounced close to an 脰. So something like reee(mm)wntken
Reply:its something like this

Reply:It's kind of hard to type.
