I also saw a movie today (SO GOOD!!) "I am Legend" With Will Smith in it. He owned a german shepherd who I thought was a boy until half way through the movie because he was always calling her Sam but then he said Samantha, thats a pretty cool name, and good for short too. Like could have "Samantha, Sam, Sammie, Samsung" Lol joking about last one but yeah. Good luck!

Reply:Vladamir, or Vlad for short. You know like Dracula, the real one not fictional. Or you could go with Hansel, or Gretel depending on sex of dog. Bismark is another good German name. Just please don't name it Fluffy Puffinstuff.

Reply:What gender is it? If it was male I'd definitely name it Malachy. For a female I'm not so sure, I'm not very good with female names. Malachy is more original than a lot of the names other people answered with, especially those that posted Names for your Pet kind of websites. Avel perhaps for a female. Myself, I like more personal names than the average "Rex" or "Abby". Avel and Malachy are from books I have read and loved.





EDIT: Name them something from a past experience, book, movie etc. Something personal.
