its mostly black with a few patches of tan. i cant think of one, its a male.

colditz........i most associate gs dogs as guard dogs so that is what name came to mind first.

Reply:We've had several GSs and everyone of them were called 'PAL' (Pal 1 , Pal 2 etc) for one simple reason , they will be your Pal for life. Very intelligent , always alert , a one person dog , who has the inclination to protect you. Watch out for a thing called CDRM in these dogs , it's a cogenital disease due to over-breeding. Good Luck
