Nice German name for my new female Boxer pup?

I am looking for a great name for my new pup. I looked up the history of the breed, and I saw that they were originally bred in Germany. I thought it would only be fitting that she should have a German name to go with her heritage. Thanks in advance!

But being a 'tougher' breed maybe more appropriate name would be

Brunhilde (Hilda or Hildy for a nick)- Valkyre from Wagner's Ring Cycle
Reply:German "Sausage " i'm joking we raised german shepherds for years and i thnk by far the best name we ever had for one was dakota i don't think it's german but it realy speaks to what a big dog is dominate leader ! Hope this helps! God Bless! ,Heather

Reply:I was able to rescue a Schnauzer pup from a pound 120 miles from home. My sister insisted I give him a German name. So I named him "Donut" after Kennedy's famous speech in which he supposedly said, in German, "I am a donut (Berliner)" instead of "I am a citizen of Berlin." I don't speak German. Apparently Kennedy didn't either.

I suppose you could name him Kaiser.
