What is your favorite female German name?

I need to pick one for german class and i wanted your opinion.... i like senta but please tell me your favorites

Reply:I knew a German lady named Waltraut, she was know as Traut for short. I think that's kind of an old fashioned German name though.


My favourite German female name would have to be Franziska, and I love the name Francesca which I guess would be an Italian version of this name.
